Following their 2-0 win over Tottenham in the London derby, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has in his comparison with the North London outfit said his team are a better side.
According to the former Napoli manager, his West London outfit won the game against the North London outfit because they are a stronger side for Tottenham to compete with.
Pedro and Kieran Tripper had delivered the win for the Blues at the Stamford Bridge with goalkeeper Kepa Arrrizabalaga being dropped in the game as a result of the public show of disrespect for the manager in the Carabao Cup finals against Man City at the weekend.
However, The Chelsea boss has made it clear that his focus will be on the team’s next game, now that a votary has been secured as he hopes all controversies in surrounding the team, including the Kepa Arrizabalaga saga be put to an end to have the team concentrate.
Meanwhile, the Italian boss would see the victory as a relief to the past two weeks where his team were under fire by critics and pundits for the various defeats against Man City and Man United in the FA Cup.
It is unclear if the manager would be sacked as speculated, having returned to winning ways with the game against Tottenham.
