There are fears that all might not be well in the camp of the West London outfit Chelsea as projected by manager Maurizio Sarri and goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in the last few days.
Concerns were raised over the unity of the team and the control of the dressing room by the Italian manager after Kepa Arrizabalaga refused to be substituted in the Carabao Cup finals against Man City at the Wembley.
It is reported that Willy Cabellero who was to be subbed in had a row in the dressing room with the Kepa Arrizabalaga because the goalkeeper came in the dressing room, claiming he refused to leave the pitch because he is a better goalkeeper as claimed by The Sun.
However, Daily Mirror reports that Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger’s brother took a swipe at the West London outfit by posting on Twitter that his sibling should be installed as the club’s captain since Cesar Azpilicueta could not intervene in the drama despite having the armband.
Meanwhile, manager Maurizio Sarri has made it clear that he will not punish Kepa Arrizabalaga having stated that they have already held talks with the player in which he gave his explanation and apology.
Maurizio Sarri has since come out to claim that what happened was just a misunderstanding.
