Arsenal are monitoring the situation of Fulham defender Ryan Sessegnon with the view to a possible move when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
According to Football Transfer Tavern, Ryan Sessegnon could be the man to put an end to Arsenal’s woes at left-back.
The left-back area is a top transfer priority for Gunners boss Unai Emery with doubts over the duo of Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac.
Spanish international Monreal has signed a new contract to stay at Arsenal for next season but the first choice left-back is not expected to stay at the Emirates Stadium beyond next stage as age is no longer on his side at 33.
For Sead Kolasinac, he has struggled defensively especially when the manager asks him to play in a four-man defense.
His best performances as an Arsenal player have come as a left wing back.
Kolasinac is in his second season at Arsenal after the Bosnian international defender joined the Gunners at the start of last season.
Ryan Sessegnon is a utility player that can effectively play as a left-back, as a left wing-back, and as a left winger.
The 18-year-old has struggled to impress consistently in the Premier League this season with two goals and five assists compared to when he scored 16 goals in the English Championship to help Fulham gain promotion at the end of last season.
Chelsea and Manchester United have also been linked with a move for him.
