The news of Chelsea ban is coming just a few hours to their Carabao Cup finals against Manchester City which has attracted a reaction from the Citizens boss Pep Guardiola.
Chelsea were hit with a ban by the FA for regularities in securing the signature of a minor and they have been told they will not have the opportunity to register a new layer in the next two summer transfer window.
The ban remains a blow to the West London outfit as they seek to bounce back in the coming season with more additions. More so, they are expected to part ways with Eden Hazard who could be heading o Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid.
However, there are suggestions that the ban could go a long way in affecting the Blues’ outing against Man City on Sunday but that has been dismissed by Pep Guardiola who stated that the Blues team will be more motivated to come out to win a title.
The Spanish manager cited the 6-0 humiliation by his side on the West London outfit, noting that it will spur the Maurizio Sarri team into coming all out for revenge.
Meanwhile, a defeat for Chelsea could mean the end of Maurizio Sarri as Chelsea boss.
