West London outfit Chelsea might not be alone in the transfer ban in coming weeks with claims that they might be joined by Premier League defending Champions Man City.

The Blues were hammered with a ban from two transfer windows as well as a fine for a transfer deal with a minor which is against the FIFA rule.

However, the latest report claims that the Citizens are currently being investigated for the same reasons and they could be hammered as well if found guilty of the offence.

Although, the West London outfit have vowed to appeal the ban claiming that some of their petitions were not considered before the ban was placed.

This development is expected to affect the Blues team ahead of next season especially now that they are battling to secure wins under manager Maurizio Sarri.

Chelsea are expected to part ways with Belgium international Eden Hazard at the end of the season after he refused to sign a new deal at the club. Suggestions are that he would be heading to his dream club, the Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid.

With Chelsea set to lose their biggest asset and having no opportunity to replace him, it is no doubt a hard pill for the fans to swallow.
