How Inter Almost Signed Arsenal Target Revealed

It has been revealed that Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan almost signed Yannick-Ferreira Carrasco during the January transfer window.
This is according to the publication from RTL Sport which claimed that Inter Milan almost secured a swap deal involving Carrasco and Nerazzurri winger Ivan Perisic.
Yannick-Ferreira Carrasco wanted to return to Europe last month but the move didn’t materialise partly due to a breakdown in negotiations between his Chinese Super Club and interested clubs like Inter Milan and North London giants Arsenal.
Carrasco plays his club football for Dalian Yifang FC of China whom he joined from Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid in February 2018.
Inter Milan were interested in a swap deal that would see him join them while Ivan Perisic moves to the Chinese club but the move collapsed in the end.
Perisic was eyeing a big contract at the Chinese Super League outfit.
He was said to have had an understanding with Leonardo Jardim who was close to being named the manager at Dalian Yifang before struggling swooped in for the Portuguese tactician.
Jardim returned to Monaco three months after he was sacked in October.
Arsenal were linked with both Perisic and Carrasco last month but nothing came out of those transfer links.
