Fergie To Deliver Man United Team Talk Ahead Of Liverpool Clash

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that he will invite legendary Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson to deliver a pre-match team talk ahead of the huge Premier League clash with Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Solskjaer disclosed this during his pre-match press conference ahead of the all-important league meeting with the Reds adding that he wants Sir Alex Ferguson to share his experiences of beating Liverpool with the Manchester United players before the game.

Fergie is a cult hero at Manchester United after helping to establish the club as a dominant force in Europe during his time in charge (1986-2013) of the team.

The 77-year-old famously said that he will knock Liverpool off their perch when he was appointed in 1986 and he did just that.

Ferguson won 11 league titles at Manchester United to take the Red Devils’ tally to 20 and also overhaul that of the Reds (18 league titles) at the same time.

He made Manchester United the kings of England in terms of the league.

Solskjaer is a protégé of his after making 366 appearances for Manchester United during a playing career that spanned 11 years at the Theatre of Dreams.

Manchester United and Solskjaer know that a win will dent Liverpool’s title hopes.
