Harry Wilson has revealed that he got a text message from Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp after he delivered a goal against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup game in September last year.
The young lad has been impressive for Derby and manager Frank Lampard so far this season as he did well to ensure he hands some wins to his side this season.
According to Harry Wilson, he had received a message after the United goal from the German boss, telling him that he watched the game and was delighted with his performance, including the goal.
Harry Wilson noted that the message was lifting for him as it did not stop there until another message was sent in some weeks later by the Liverpool boss to applaud him again of the good performance.
However, Harry Wilson has been prominent in the FA Cup and he is expected to help his side reach the Cup’s quarter-finals as they clash with Brighton on Saturday.
This has raised suggestions that the Liverpool boss might be nursing an interest in Harry Wilson by monitoring his progress. He could and him in the future transfer windows.
There is no doubt about Jurgen Klopp’s love for young talents.
