English Premier League outfits Manchester United and Chelsea are set to clash over the signature of Italian Serie A outfit Juventus winger Douglas Costa, according to reports.

Both EPL sides are keen to land him in the coming summer transfer window as they hope to strengthen to avoid the struggling of this current campaign next term.

It is understood that United’s former manager Jose Mourinho had made efforts to convince the club’s management to secure new additions to their defence but they failed to sanction any deal. Now that he is gone, they seem to be looking towards that direction.

The Reds team already have Italian Serie A outfit Napoli defender Kalibaly Koulibaly in their agenda but there are indications that they have added Douglas Costa to the wish list.

There is no doubt about Douglas Costa’s quality but so far this season, he has not been at the best which might convince the Old Lady to have him sold out in the summer window.

Douglas Costa has been tipped to be a success at the Old Trafford with his dribbling skills.

However, the West London outfit are not going to give up on Douglas Costa as they will attempt to win the race before the Red Devils.
