Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen has dismissed transfer rumours linking him with a move away from the club.
In a chat with Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet, the 22-year-old centre back revealed that it’s too early to talk about an exit from his Italian Serie A club.
The young Danish defender has been touted as a possible signing for several major European clubs including Manchester United in the wake of his impressive outings for Sampdoria this term.
His form has propelled Sampdoria to a top-eight spot on the Italian Serie A table.
Joachim Andersen has grown to become a key player for Italian Serie A club Sampdoria since his transfer from Dutch Eredivisie side FC Twente at the start of last season.
Apart from the Red Devils, Joachim Andersen has previously been linked with Tottenham Hotspur (England), Atletico Madrid (Spain) and Inter Milan (Italy).
During the aforementioned interview, the defender revealed that he could still spend one more season with the club before leaving for greener pastures.
When asked about the league that he likes (Italy, Spain or England), Joachim Andersen replied with an unusual answer as he said that the league is consequential and that the plan that his potential suitors have for him will play a big role in a possible move.
