Mathias Pogba has confirmed that Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba considered leaving the club while Jose Mourinho was still the Red Devils manager.
Mathias is the brother of Paul Pogba and he plays his club football for French club Tours at the moment.
He made the above revelation in an interview with French media outlet Telefoot.
Paul Pogba returned to Manchester United from Italian Serie A champions Juventus in the summer of 2016 for a then world-record fee of £89m after Mourinho was appointed the Red Devils manager but the two parties endured a fractious relationship.
Paul Pogba had earlier left the Theatre of Dreams for Juventus in a free transfer move in 2012 which saw the Italians pay some form of compensation due to the fact that he was a Manchester United Academy player under the age of 21 as at that time.
Pogba and Mourinho enjoyed a good working relationship in their first season together as Manchester United won both the Europa League and the Capital One Cup.
Their relationship deteriorated last season before it fell apart in this campaign with the two parties clashing on several occasions earlier in the season.
Paul Pogba thought about leaving Manchester United until Mourinho was sacked.
The French World Cup winner has found a new lease of life under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
