Chelsea have got the opportunity to have two striker play at the Stamford Bridge with Spanish forward Alvaro Morata playing the first half of the season before his exit while Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain is on the ground through the second half.
The question of who is better can be judged by the fans but former Blues player Tony Cascarino claims that the Blues fans will prefer the newcomer than the departed one.
According to him, Gonzalo Higuain has got two major attributes that make him more important in the Blues team than Alvaro Morata.
Citing reasons why Gonzalo Higuain is better and was keenly wanted at the club by the Italian boss Maurizio Sarri, the former player stated that the Argentina man does not stray offside and most importantly, he releases the ball in good time.
He noted that Gonzalo Higuain’s game on Saturday was enough to expose Alvaro Morata’s weakness as he was not caught on an offside position in addition to releasing the ball in good time.
However, Gonzalo Higuain has scored two goals so far to register his presence in the team and to prove to doubters that manager Maurizio Sarri was right to have insisted on having him in the winter window.
