North London giants Tottenham Hotspur are the latest club to be linked with a move for highly rated Bournemouth midfielder David Brooks.
The Daily Mirror revealed that Spurs want to break their long transfer drought with a summer swoop for Welsh international star David Brooks.
The 21-year-old has also been attracting the interest of Old Trafford club Manchester United with earlier reports claiming that the Red Devils are plotting a £40m raid on South Coast club Bournemouth for his services.
David Brooks has been in sensational form for the Cherries since he made his debut in the Premier League victory over newly promoted side Cardiff City in the first Premier League game of the season.
The Welsh player joined Bournemouth at the start of this season in a deal worth £11.5m from Championship club Sheffield United.
Tottenham Hotspur are ready to end their transfer hiatus by sealing a deal for David Brooks in the summer.
Their last recruit into the first team was Brazilian international Lucas Moura who joined the club from French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) during last year’s winter transfer window.
Spurs are light in midfield at the moment following the departure of Belgian international midfielder Moussa Dembele to China.
