It is now confirmed that Christian Eriksen will now remain with his English Premier League outfit Tottenham for the remaining part of the season.

This is after it was reported that his major suitors, Chelsea and Manchester United will no longer have him in this January winter transfer window until the coming summer window.

Also, Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid are strong contenders for Christian Eriksen but they have now abandoned the chase until in the coming summer window.

The Spanish giants are bent on securing the signature of the Denmark international as a replacement for Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo who has left the club to join the Italian Serie A champions Juventus.

However, the battle for Christian Eriksen will now be fierce in the coming summer window with the three European giants all coming out for him.

There are suggestions that the North London side will not be able to keep hold of the star player as the Spanish giants will come out with a luring offer that would be difficult to resist.

Christian Eriksen has got a contract running with Tottenham until June 2020 but there are possibilities he will not stay to see out the contract owing to the £75,000-a-week wage which he is unsatisfied with.
