North London giants Arsenal have made a loan approach for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic.

According to experienced journalist David Ornstein, the Gunners want to sign Perisic on loan until the end of this season with an option to make the move permanent for £35m in the summer.

David Ornstein works with popular English media outlet BBC Sport.

He also said that the player wants to leave Inter Milan.

Manchester United and Atletico Madrid are also in the running to sign Ivan Perisic.

The Croatian international forward came close to joining Manchester United in the summer of 2017 but Inter Milan held out for more money thereby leading to the collapse of the transfer.

Ivan Perisic has not enjoyed the best of campaigns for Inter Milan this term.

He has struggled for form in the colors of the Nerazzurri.

This is in stark contrast to the form that he showed for the Croatian national team at last summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.

Ivan Perisic was in superb form for the Croatian national team as they reached the final of the tournament before they were beaten 4-2 by eventual winners France.

The 29-year-old scored in the final against the French team.

He has scored just three goals for Inter Milan this season.
