The Times writer Paul Joyce has revealed that that English Premier League leaders Liverpool are done spending as they intend to dish out about £150-£200 million on the signings of about 8 players within the next years.

According to him, the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Trent Alexander-Arnold have started benefitting from the said amount as a result of contract extensions.

The writer claims that decision by the Reds to have such a big budget is beyond having big players at the club but also safeguarding the future of the club in terms of the successes that would be recorded.

Liverpool are also building a club filled with stars rather than build them and let them leave to other big sides.

However, the results have already started speaking as Liverpool have started dominating in the league as well as in the European League. This season, the Reds have their sight on the Premier League title as they top the table with four points.

It would also be recalled that the Reds team came to winning two major titles as they ended seconds in the Premier League last season as well as reaching the Champions League finals but were defeated by Real Madrid.
