English Premier League outfit Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has given a lift to the club fans after hinting them of the possibility of having England international midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain return to first-team football this season.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been injured since last season in April when he sustained a knee problem in Liverpool’s first Leg Champions League semi-finals against Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma.
It was earlier thought that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will not return to football this season because of the career threatening injury but the German boss has made it clear that the star player has stepped up in his recovery.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss made it clear that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will return to training next month and could be involved in a number of games as well, this season.
The former Arsenal player joined the Anfield to become a transformed figure in the Jurgen Kopp’s team, better than what he was known for at the Emirate Stadium.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was definitely a big miss for the Reds team and Jurgen Klopp cannot wait to have him back especially after stating that he was happy to see him move around with the ball while doing a sidelined workout.
