Bayern Munich manager Niko Kovac has dismissed exit rumors hovering over midfielder James Rodriguez.
The Colombian international playmaker has been linked with an exit from the German club whom he joined at the start of last season.
James Rodriguez signed for the Bavarian giants from European champions Real Madrid on a two-year loan deal after Bayern paid £11.5m for him with the option to make it permanent for around £37m.
James Rodriguez has not had the same impact as last season in this new campaign amidst reports that he has fallen out of favour with Niko Kovac.
The Croatian tactician spoke about James Rodriguez ahead of his side’s Bundesliga clash with TSG Hoffenheim at the weekend.
Niko Kovac revealed that the Colombian national team talisman wants to stay at the Allianz Arena just like the player said during a recent event.
This is certainly not what Arsenal fans want to hear with the Gunners faithful crying out for senior club officials to reinforce the squad with new signings.
The Gunners have been touted as a potential destination for James Rodriguez with reports claiming that Arsenal can sign him for the remainder of his Bayern Munich loan deal for just £3m.
