The English Premier League leaders Liverpool are now faced with defensive crisis and they are seeking for help that will ensure they see through the next six months.

Liverpool defenders including the likes of Joe Gomez, Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip are all injured which leaves former Southampton man Virgil Van Dijk as the only natural central defender in the Reds team.

This makes the league leaders desperate to secure an addition in this winter window and they have identified Love’s central defender Conor Coady as a good fit for this winter transfer window.

There is no doubt about Conor Coady’s performance this season which is the reason why he has paid big attention to clubs with manager Jurgen Klopp part of the managers that are keen on him in this winter transfer window.

Conor Coady is believed to have had 24 appearances this season for his side and has impressed in all which gives a clue that he can fit into the Liverpool side to partner the former Southampton central defender.

However, the Reds will only consider a loan move for Connor Coady but could make it permanent should he prove a lot like Virgil Van Dijk within the next six months.
