With Zola’s recent comments on Morata’s form, it won’t be a surprise if the Spaniard is shown the exit door before the end of this month.

The former Real Madrid striker has failed to deliver the goals needed from him as Chelsea’s frontman and the Blues assistant manager is becoming impatient with him.

The Sarri’s backroom staff blast the 26-year-old for being unable to justify his price tag since his switch to Stamford Bridge last season.

Zola further spells out Morata’s role in the team when he charges him to start scoring goals aplenty.

He, however, advised the former Juventus man to open up his mind to the fact that he’s playing for Chelsea and their supporters “expect a lot of goals and many great performances from him”

Morata has scored just five goals from 16 League matches he’s featured for the team.

The last time he scored was on the 14th November last year and that isn’t an impressive output from a player of his calibre.

Morata was recently dropped to the substitute bench by Sarri as result of his poor form in front of goal.

Luckily for the Spaniard, Olivier Giroud — who took his place in the starting lineup — was injured by Southampton’s Tomkins and Morata returned back into the first XI.

It is believed that Chelsea are looking for a new striker who will help solve their current lack of goals.

Should the former Napoli manager eventually sign a proven goalscorer, that could be the end of Morata’s relationship with the west London outfits.
