Italian Serie A champions Juventus have reportedly offered one of their midfielders in a bid to sign Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey in the January transfer window.

The Daily Mirror claim that the Italians want to offer 2014 World Cup winner Sami Khedira in their quest to sign Welshman Ramsey this month.

Sami Khedira, 31, has scored just once in nine appearances for Juventus this season with his solitary strike coming in the 3-2 win over Chievo Verona in their Italian Serie A clash.

It remains to be seen whether the proposition from Juventus will appeal to the Gunners though manager Unai Emery is said to be a fan of the German international player.

Recent reports revealed that Juventus have already agreed on a deal with Aaron Ramsey over a free transfer move this summer but Old Lady manager Maximiliano Allegri is keen to fast-forward the transfer to this January transfer window.

Ramsey is certain to leave the North Londoners this year following the decision not to offer him a new Arsenal contract.

The 28-year-old has less than six months on his current deal.

Despite his contract situation with Arsenal, Aaron Ramsey has scored two goals and provided six assists in the Premier League this season.
