Italian Serie A outfit Napoli have now surrendered their hold on Chelsea target Elseid Hysaj as they hope to receive offers from the West London club in the current winter transfer window.
This is a big boost to the Blues who are set to part ways with some defenders in the club who have complained over lack of playing time under manager Maurizio Sarri.
However, Napoli are now ready to let Elseid Hysaj leave having denied him a move to the Stamford Bridge in the last summer window.
Elseid Hysaj will, therefore, link up with his former Italian boss according to reports should the West London side decide to invest in him.
The right-back defender current contract with Napoli will not end until 2021 and he is pushing for a move away from the club having refused to pen a new deal at the club despite pleas.
Although, Napoli will not be happy to have Elseid Hysaj sold to Chelsea known that their former manager has been doing all to unsettle some of the club players after taking Jorginho along with him in the last summer window.
However, the West London side are expected to do some business in this winter window as they hope to recruit ahead of the second half of the season.
