After failing to seal a move for German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund star winger Christian Pulisic, Liverpool are now preparing a bid for Red Bull Salzburg striker Munas Dabbur, according to Football Whispers.
The Reds are desperate to maintain the top spot in the Premier League table which makes them seek for more additions that will add more strength to their team.
That is the reason why they have turned their attention to the Israel international with the hope that a deal for him could be completed in the current winter transfer window as long as the asking price is met.
Munus Dabbur has been impressive since last term where he scored a total of 22 goals in 32 games in all competitions to help Salzburg win the Austrian Bundesliga as well as reaching the semi-finals of the Europa League and that performance has been consistent so far this term as he has again scored 16 goals this term.
This makes him the quality player that would be a good fit for the Merseyside club to help carry on through the second half of the season.
Reports claimed that the player is already being monitored by Liverpool’s chief scout Barry Hunter who has already travelled to Austria to watch the 26-year-old in action for Salzburg on several occasions.
