West London boss Maurizio Sarri is reported to have arranged a meeting that will enable him to hold talks with his former side Empoli over a potential move for talented young midfielder Hamed Junior Traore when the winter window officially reopens tomorrow.
The report from Italy claims that Maurizio Sarri will meet the club president Tuscan Corsi to discuss on the 18-year-old sensation so as to submit a bid in January.
The West London side are desperate for new additions in the middle knowing that former Barcelona and Arsenal star player Cesc Fabregas and former Premier League champions Danny Drinkwater are keen on leaving as a result of the lack of playing time at the Stamford Bridge.
Though young, Hamed Junior Traore has been identified as a better option for both players knowing his quality and his young age as he can also serve as a player for the future at the Stamford Bridge.
Hamed Junior Traore has been impressive and has caught the attention of a number of clubs within and outside Italy but the Blues Boss will be banking on his relationship with his former side to seal a deal.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are encouraged by the fact that they will not pay big for the young sensation.
