Young Nigerian forward Samuel Chukwueze is said to be attracting the interests of several Premier League (PL) sides ahead of the winter transfer window scheduled to start in three days time.
Samuel Chukwueze, 18, has been in sensational form for his club since the start of the season.
The Nigerian youngster is on the payroll of sleeping Spanish La Liga Villareal.
He has impressed a great deal for the Yellow Submarines this season and it’s not surprising that clubs are queuing up for him.
According to the publication from Leicester Mercury, Arsenal and Leicester City are interested in a transfer for the exciting winger.
It was also revealed that Spanish side Atletico Madrid have been linked with a €40m swoop for the player.
Reacting to the numerous interests in one of his players, Villareal manager Luis Garcia described recently capped Super Eagles of Nigeria star Samuel Chukwueze as a jewel that the La Liga club wants to keep.
It might be hard for Garcia and Villareal to resist interested clubs including the Gunners who are said to be in the transfer market for a winger/forward following the injury to Danny Welbeck last month.
The former Sunderland and Manchester United attacker won’t play again this season because of a serious ankle injury.
