There are fears that all the speculations linking AC Milan forward Gonzalo Higuain to the English Premier League giants Chelsea might not be true.
It would be recalled that earlier reports claim that the Argentine international is seeking for a move away from the San Siro and has made a demand to have him sold.
This, therefore, has been dismissed by AC Milan sporting director Leonardo who claims that the reports of Gonzalo Higuain seeking a move to Chelsea are false and untrue.
The sporting director also affirmed that Gonzalo Higuain has not submitted any transfer request to the club as reported.
He noted that he has got a good relationship with the Argentina international and will definitely be aware of any situation as that.
According to him, Gonzalo Higuain is a very important player to the team who is giving his best as well.
However, manager Maurizio Sarri is reported to be seeking for Gonzalo Higuain’s signature so as to have him as a replacement for under firing Alvaro Morata.
Meanwhile, Gonzalo Higuain is reported to be struggling at the San Siro and that has also increased the pressure on manager Gennaro Gattuso.
Also, Chelsea are struggling with their attackers who are also shy of goals so far this season.
