Nigerian international Victor Moses has been backed by the Blues legend Michael Essien to leave the Stamford Bridge as early as possible for the good of his football career.
Victor Moses has only had two games under his belt this season which makes him unwanted at the club in addition to being told by manager Maurizio Sarri that he is not in the club’s plan.
However, the former Wigan star reportedly made a decision to leave the West London side with a move to the Crystal Palace already being reported ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in the coming days.
The Chelsea legend, therefore, backed Victor Moses on his decision to leave the West London side because he will only get more frustrated if situations remain unchanged.
While admitting that Chelsea is a club that everyone will want to play, Essien stressed that it is never easy playing there because of the attention and also the size of the club.
However, the West London side will be waiting to receive bids for the player as they have given up on his stay at the club.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are currently fourth in the Premier League table and they hope to keep on the momentum so as to ensure qualification to the Champions League next season.
