With the second half of the season yet to begin, Liverpool are keen on having more additions to the team so as to compete favourably and also maintain the lead in the Premier League table.
The Reds are tipped to be the best team so far this season after 18 games already played and they have also got the best defence having conceded lesser goals this season.
However, they are keen on adding more firepower to their attack with German star Timo Werner in the winter transfer window which reopens in coming days.
Manager Jurgen Klopp will rather have more options for the attack despite having Senegal international Sadio Mane, Egyptian international Mohamed Salah and Brazilian international Roberto Firmino to boast of.
Timo Werner will be a big boost and option to the team especially in situations of injuries and bad form as he would already be available on ground.
So far this season, the German international has scored a total of 14 goals in the 25 games under his belt for both club and country.
More so, Timo Werner is tipped to be Divock Origi’s replacement who seem to be pushing for an exit away from the Anfield in the coming winter transfer market.
