FC Porto star Eder Militao has emerged as the top defensive transfer target for Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ahead of the upcoming transfer window scheduled to begin as from the start of next month.
Brazilian international player Eder Militao had earlier been linked with the Red Devils before Jose Mourinho was sacked last week.
The Portuguese tactician has been replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who will be the Manchester United manager on an interim basis until the end of the season.
Despite the dismissal of Mourinho, Manchester United retain an interest in Eder Militao.
The Daily Express has revealed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eyeing a transfer for both Eder Militao and Joshua King.
Manchester United have been poor defensively this season and the club is said to be working on signing players to shore up the ineffective defence.
The Red Devils have kept two clean sheets all season.
Eder Militao would be a fantastic addition to the Manchester United defence if the form he has shown for Portuguese champions FC Porto is anything to go by.
The 20-year-old has been in impressive form for FC Porto in both the league and Champions League this season.
He has scored one goal and provided two assists in 17 games for FC Porto in all competitions.
