Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is reportedly attracting interest from France following the news that top flight side Rennes want to sign him.
Yahoo Sport France claim that the French Ligue 1 club has already contacted the Argentine shot stopper about a possible transfer when the winter transfer window reopens at the start of next month.
Rennes are on the search for a new first choice goalkeeper with current recipient Thomas Koubek expected to leave the club in January.
Emiliano Martinez would be better served moving to France rather than staying at Arsenal where he’s the third choice goalkeeper behind summer arrival Bernd Leno and Petr Cech.
He has played once for the Gunners this season.
