Experienced journalist Dharmesh Sheth has made a big verdict about the Gunners transfer activity ahead of the reopening of the January transfer window in two weeks time.

Sheth revealed that Arsenal won’t sign any players next month due to the lack of quality players.

He made this known while speaking on the Transfer Talk podcast on popular English media platform Sky Sports.

This won’t go down well with Arsenal fans who are keen for new manager Unai Emery to improve his depleted squad with quality players when the transfer window reopens at the start of next month.

Unai Emery had earlier cast doubts over the arrival of new signings in January.

The Spanish tactician said that he’s not a big fan of the January transfer window and that it’s hard to sign quality players.

The Arsenal squad has been depleted with the long-term injuries to Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck.

Both Holding and Welbeck have been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering knee and ankle injury respectively.

Rob Holding suffered the knee injury during the Premier League game against rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier this month, while Danny Welbeck got injured in the Europa League home clash with Sporting Lisbon in November.
