Italian Serie A champions Juventus are now leading in the race for the signature of Brescia midfielder Sandro Tolani ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

The Italian side were in the race with English Premier League side Chelsea but they seem to have won it as they are reported to be in talks with the club over a possible deal in January.

Juventus are set to prepare for life without Khedira and Matuidi who are already 30 and could soon be on their way out of the club which leaves room for Sandro Tolani should he move to Turin eventually.

The Italy international has been impressive this season which is the reason why top clubs have come all out for his signature knowing that he has shown the potential of a big club player.

With his asking price close to £35 million in his contract which runs until 2021, suggestions are that the Italian champions will pay higher for the services of the Little Swallows youth academy product.

However, Sandro Tolani’s development is still a major concern for his side and they will only sanction his move if Juventus can give their word on having him play regularly at the club.
