North London giants Arsenal are said to be considering whether to make an offer for TSG Hoffenheim midfielder Florian Grillitsch when the transfer market reopens in 15 days time.
This is according to the publication from popular English media portal Metro.
Florian Grillitsch has been in impressive form for TSG Hoffenheim in the new campaign thereby attracting the interests of several European clubs including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
He has played well for the Germans in the Bundesliga and Champions League this season.
The player has been able to adapt to the expansive football style of Hoffenheim manager Julian Nagelsmann following his move from fellow German Bundesliga side Werder Bremen in the summer of 2017.
The Austrian international midfielder has played ten times for his country, scoring once.
It was also revealed that his agent was in London this week to discuss the future of his client.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have both been linked with several midfielders ahead of the upcoming transfer window scheduled to start in the New Year.
The Gunners, in particular, have been linked with a lot of midfield reinforcements in the wake of the reports that Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is on his way out of the club after the Gunners hierarchy decided not to give him a new contract.
