In what turns out to be a surprise to many, Liverpool star player Mohamed Salah has been snubbed as the best player in the English premier league by the Reds legend Graeme Souness.

When faced with the question of picking the best player in the league, Graeme Souness decided to go for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.

Meanwhile, Salah was previously praised as the best player in the league especially with his feat last season when he helped his Reds team reach the Champions League finals as well as finishing second place in the Premier League table.

In comparison, the Egypt international has got 10 goals under his belt this season while Hazard has been able to score seven so far but that has nothing to do with Graeme Souness’ analysis.

Giving reasons for his choice, Graeme Souness stated that the Liverpool ace would only be the better choice in terms of goal scoring but noted that the Chelsea ace is better in terms of all-around play.

However, Salah might soon have his dominance in the league again with the Belgium international set to leave the West London side at the end of this campaign.

Both players are important to their various team and have been heavily relied upon.
