English Premier League club, Liverpool are keen on the signature of German Bundesliga outfit Bayer Luverkusen wonder boy Kai Havertz and will be willing to have him switch to the Anfield as early as in the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

German weekly sports magazine, Sport Blid hint that the young lad is one of Europe’s best prospects and will not be easily captured by the Reds as there are interests from a number of top European clubs.

The long list of Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are all monitoring the player and set to battle Liverpool for his signature.

According to reports, Spanish side Real Madrid have been having regular contact for the 19-year-old and will seek to secure his signature as well.

Kai Havertz has got a contract with the German Bundesliga outfit until June 2022 but there are no assurances that he would remain at the club to see out his years as a result of the many interests coming in for him.

However, manager Jurgen Klopp is reported to be doing all it takes to snap up the player as early as in the winter transfer window to win the race against other suitors.
