Emerging reports indicate that Italian Serie A giants AC Milan have now resumed talks with Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas with a view of securing his signature in coming weeks when the winter transfer window eventually reopens.

It would be recalled that earlier negotiations between both parties were reported to have collapsed over the inability to agree on a weekly wage for the Spaniard.

The Italian side have been long interested in the former Barcelona star who is soon to be a free player at the West London with the refusal of the club to hand him a new contract despite his confession that he would want to remain.

With Milan now having a former Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis who is believed to be a big fan of the star player, there are insinuations that he might be responsible for the recall of negotiations as he would be willing to work with Cesc Fabregas again.

The 31-year-old has not been given the necessary attention at the Stamford Bridge having had just 11 games under his belt this season across all competitions.

Cesc Fabregas is believed to be tired of the situation and will want a move away from the club having stated that he has more years to play active football.
