Man City Join Race For In-Demand Arsenal Target

Premier League champions Manchester have joined the race to sign AS Roma winger Cengiz Under with few weeks left before the January transfer window reopens.
Cengiz Under has emerged as one of the most sought-after players on the European football scene since he joined AS Roma last summer.
The Turkish international star signed for the Italian capital club during last summer’s transfer window from Turkish Super League outfit Bursaspor.
Roma paid an initial fee of around €13.4m to secure his signing.
Under enjoyed a breakthrough season in the colours of Roma in the last campaign and he was part of the team that reached the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League before they were knocked out by Premier League side Liverpool.
His form has continued into the new season.
Cengiz Under has scored five goals and provided four assists in all competitions for AS Roma since the start of this season.
His goal tally includes two goals and two assists in the Champions League thus helping Roma qualify for the knockout stage.
The interest of Manchester City was revealed by trusted media portal ESPN.
It was revealed that the Citizens have joined fellow Premier League sides like Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea in the race for the 21-year-old.
