Premier League giants Chelsea are reported to be preparing to bid for Portuguese outfit Porto central defender Eder Militao ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.
The West London side are desperate to add more additions in a bid to strengthen their squad so as to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title.
Manager Maurizio Sarri has therefore identified Eder Militao as a top target that will give his side the needed quality to have a better second half of the season.
The Brazilian star who joined Porto from Brazilian star Sao Paulo in the summer window made an immediate impact in Portugal which has attracted a number of suitors within his 13 appearances.
There is no doubt that he will not have a long stay with Porto with the increasing interests from Europe.
It is also reported that Eder Militao will welcome any bid from the English League and he will force a move away when the winter transfer window reopens.
However, Chelsea are reported to be willing to pay big for Eder Militao as manager Maurizio Sarri keen to add him in coming weeks when the winter transfer window reopens.
Meanwhile, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is believed to be interested in the signature of the player.
