Merseyside club Everton are eager to secure the signing of Chelsea loanee striker Michy Batshuayi ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.
Michy Batshuayi has been identified by the Toffees as the high levelled striker they have been seeking for following his impressive performance which has caught the attention of Everton manager Marco Silva.
The English Premier League side have therefore been hinted that they will have to battle to secure the services of Michy Batshuayi with German top flight Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund also keen on his signature.
So far, he has been able to score a total of 4 goals to his name in all competitions and that enough to catch the attention of the Toffees.
The Belgium international do have a contract with the Blues until 2021 in addition to the release clause of about £40 million owing to how much have been invested in him since joining the Stamford Bridge from French side Marseille in 2016.
However, looking desperate, Everton are willing to activate the release clause of the player to have him join the club in January when the winter transfer window reopens.
It is therefore not clear if the West London side will be willing to release the Belgium man
