The race for the Premier League is getting hotter with more competition and intensity. This is a major reason why clubs will storm the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks to either add to the depth of the squad or replace.
West London club Chelsea are one of those clubs that are desperately in need of having some replacement at the club when the transfer window reopens with Gary Cahill and Andreas Christensen seeming desperate to leave the Stamford Bridge.
However, the Blues have identified Porto central defender Eder Militao as a good fit for the club and they are all out to ensure they snap up his signature in coming weeks.
Eder Militao is impressing so far this season and that is why he has been able to get the attraction he has with another English Premier League side Manchester United also having their eye on him.
The South American joined Porto from Brazilian side Sao Paolo just in this summer with a fee of about £7 million and there are indications he will not be staying too long at Portugal with interest all around Europe.
So far this season, Eder Militao has been able to secure 12 appearances under his belt and had a goal to his name in addition to an assist.
