It has been reported that Italian giants Inter Milan are already finalizing negotiation with Fiorentina over attacker Federico Chiesa who is being wanted by the English Premier League side Chelsea.
The West London side were previously in pole position to sign the Italy-based attacker but from all indications, they seem to have lost out with reports that a bid will be submitted by Fiorentina with the hope that Federico Chiesa will officially move in January when the winter transfer window reopens.
Chelsea had penned down Federico Chiesa as a good fit for the club and thought he would be convinced to the Stamford Bridge to provide cover for under-firing Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud.
Meanwhile, Liverpool and Juventus are reported to have paid attention to the La Viola youth academy product but they are not favourite in his case.
Federico Chiesa has been an unchanged figure for the Italian Serie A side and has been impressive since the beginning of the season which gave him the attention he has got from the big European clubs.
However, Chelsea may have to work on the options they have on ground to ensure they return back to form or shift attention to other targets who might be available.
