There are indications that West London side Chelsea are still unsure on way to go about the future of Brazilian central defender David Luiz.

Reports according to Calciomercato says the player’s contract is running out and he is yet to be approached by the club for a new deal which hints that they might be considering letting him leave anytime soon.

David Luiz had a bad last season for the Blues but that has changed as he is a major part of the Maurizio Sarri team which has raised concerns on why he is yet to be handed a new deal.

The Brazilian’s contract with the Blues will see its end at the end of this season which means he will be free to speak with suitors in the new year to a gree on a deal in principle.

Suggestions are that the former Paris Saint Germain star will be willing to remain at the Stamford Bridge ahead of next season but he has been calm because of his confidence in securing other deals with big European clubs as a free player at the end of the campaign.

Meanwhile, the Blues are expected to make a public statement on the future of the Brazilian international in coming weeks.

Richarlison

Emerging reports indicate that West London side Chelsea are already keeping tabs on Everton star Richarlison with the hope of securing his signature.

The Brazilian has been impressive for the Toffees this season and he has caught the attention of big sides following his big-money move from Watford

Richarlison is known to be a technically gifted player who has blended with the rigorous demands of the English Premier League and has been tipped to make a success at the Stamford Bridge.

There are fears that Everton will have to let him go against their wish with the big interest and the luring offer that would be submitted for his signature.

Everton paid a whopping sum of £50 million for the signature of Richarlison which means the Blues will have to go more than that if they must have his signature.

The West London side are battling with the form of their forward as Spanish Pedro and Brazilian international Willian are not firing at the moment which gives manager Maurizio Sarri little concern.

However, the former Fluminense has had 14 appearances under his belt so far this season and has been able to deliver 7 goals with an assist to confirm his presence.

Sad news for Chelsea fans ahead of January transfer

Chelsea fans

Reports coming in from West London side Chelsea might not be too good for the fans to learn as the possibility of having an addition of a striker in the winter transfer window has been ruled off.

This is the opinion of former Man United and Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov when he hinted that there will not be a new signing for attackers in January.

Before this development, there have been speculations of expected deals in the winter window which so many names already mentioned as potential buys.

All of the speculations have come to be because of the poor form of the forwards at the Stamford Bridge at the moment which is gradually getting manager Maurizio frustrated.

The likes of Willian, Pedro, Olivier Giroud are all not in good form and the midfielders left with the responsibility of scoring goals for the club.

Dimitar Berbatov noted that the Italian boss has already given up on his side’s pursuit for the league title which means he will not be doing much as he will only work towards qualifying for the Champions league especially after their two defeats to Tottenham and Wolves respectively.

Also, Dimitar Berbatov stated that there has not been any open criticism of Giroud and Morata by the Chelsea boss.

Edinson Cavani

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri seems to be running out of patience with Spanish striker Alvaro Morata and has been shopping for a replacement for him ahead of the winter transfer window.

The former Real Madrid man has been goal shy and ineffective in the team alongside French man Olivier Giroud which leave the team at the mercy of the midfielders to deliver goals to the club.

The former Napoli boss is, therefore, making efforts to ensure a change in the bad form at the attack for the second stanza of the season which makes him go all out seeking for a striker.

Insinuations are that a new striker will be brought into the Stamford Bridge to add quality to the team and most importantly give the strikers a good competition.

However, reports claim that the Italian boss is now monitoring French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain striker Edinson Cavani striker with the hope of luring him to the West London when the winter transfer window is opened.

However, Sarri would be constrained by the fact that Edinson Cavani is already 31 and would not be favoured in the already existing policy at Chelsea which will not give any lucrative contract to anyone who is above 30.

Gary Cahill

The winter transfer window is getting closer as it reopens in coming weeks, hinting that West London side Chelsea are set to lose one of their most experienced central defender, Gary Cahill.

The England international is well known in the English league as one of the solid and experienced players in the league but he has been relegated in the ranks at the Stamford Bridge by manager Maurizio Sarri.

The Chelsea boss could not hide it by stating that he is well pleased with the partnership of David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger at his defence.

No wonder Gary Cahill has been left out of most Premier League games and that is no longer comfortable for the former Bolton star which makes him seek a move away from the club.

However, Turkish outfit Galatasaray have emerged as a strong suitor for Cahill as they wish to strengthen their defence with the Chelsea outcast knowing that his contract at the Stamford Bridge runs out at the end of the season.

This means that the six years spell of the England international with 189 appearances so far would come to an end in the summer.

Cahill has also enjoyed 61 England caps and was part of the team that made it to the FIFA World Cup in Russia earlier this year.

Cesc Fabregas

Italian Serie A giants AC Milan are hopeful of securing the signature Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas but will not be ready to pay more than £10 million in the coming winter transfer window.

Milan are desperate to have the former Barcelona star join the San Siro having identified him as an experienced and player of top quality that will help solve their midfield problem.

The Spaniard has severally voiced out his frustration at not being handed enough playing time by Italian manager Maurizio Sarri despite his confession that his age should not be an issue as he can still play more years of active football.

With Fabregas’ contract with the West London side running out at the end of the season, he has not been handed any new deal while negotiations are yet to be on the table for talks.

This hints that he is no longer needed at the Stamford Bridge and will have to move with the interest from the Italian side.

However, the major challenge in the deal will be the price to be paid for Fabregas with the Italian side insisting that they will not be interested any more should the English Premier League side request more than £10 million.

Michy Batshuayi

La Liga giants Real Madrid are in shock move or Chelsea loanee Michy Batshuayi ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

With the Spanish side currently struggling to win games, it is reported according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol that Los Blancos boss Santiago Solari is desperate to add more quality and competition to his attack in the winter window.

Santiago Solari is therefore reported to have identified Michy Batshuayi as the best fit knowing that he will not only be available but will also be secured at a cheap price.

Real Madrid have been able to monitor the progress of the star forward who is currently on loan with another Spanish side Valencia where he has scored just three goals so far this season.

Michy Batshuayi is obviously going to be released by the West London side knowing that he has failed to establish himself at the Stamford Bridge, as a result, he is currently having his second loan spell after the first with the German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund and scoring nine goals in 14 appearances.

However, Chelsea will be willing to cash in more than the £31.5 million that was paid for Michy Batshuayi when he joined Chelsea in the summer window of 2016 from Marseille.

Florian Thauvin

English Premier League clubs and London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham have been reported to be in a battle for the signature of French Ligue 1 outfit Marseille winger Florian Thauvin ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

Reports from French media as cited by Calciomercato state that Florian Thauvin has interested the two London clubs and they are all making moves to secure his signature.

The West London side are desperately in need of more attacking options with Spanish player Alvaro Morata and World Cup winner Olivier Giroud not in good form at the moment.

Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is desperate to secure hand the duo some competition as he seeks to deliver a title to the Stamford Bridge this season after a boost of defeating league leaders Man City at the weekend.

Also, the North London side did not partake in last summer’s transfer window owing to the stadium project by the club but with the league seeming more difficult, there is a need to add to the strength of the squad so as to ensure a qualification to the Champions League next season.

Florian Thauvin has scored a total of 12 goals in 17 appearances for the Ligue 1 side so far this season.

It has been alleged that West London side Chelsea have won the race to secure the signature of Manchester United out-of-favour star Andrea Pereira ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

The West London side and their North London rivals Arsenal were earlier reported to be seeking for the signature of Andrea Pereira but from emerging reports, the race has already been decided.

Also, Andrea Pereira is reported to be leaving the Red Devils in a cut-price deal to be able to push for the move away from the Old Trafford, The Metro says.

The 22-year-old has not had life too good at United as he has continued to struggle under manager Jose Mourinho.

It was the reason why he was sent on loan last season to Spanish side Valencia and with his return, the story remains unchanged.

It could just be time for Andrea Pereira to move away on a permanent basis knowing that his future at the club cannot be granted at the moment with United also ready to let him go.

However, Valencia are reported to be willing to have Andrea Pereira on a permanent move having impressed in the club last season when he had his loan move.

sarri

There are fears that West London side Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri might have begun shopping for a replacement for Alvaro Morata following his reported keen interest in Gonzalo Higuain ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

The Spanish striker has not had it all good at the Stamford Bridge and has been unconvincing with his bad goal scoring form which makes the Italian boss ready to have a new replacement as the league title race gets tougher.

It is also reported that the former Real Madrid striker will fancy a return to the Italian Serie A where he had a good spell with Juventus between 2014-2016 as he can no longer prove himself at the Stamford Bridge.

However, the former Napoli boss is already making moves to have the bid for Gonzalo Higuain sanctioned by the club’s hierarchy so as to complete a move for him in January when the transfer window reopens.

Meanwhile, the major constraint for the Blues boss is the fact that Gonzalo Higuain has crossed the age of 30 which makes him unfit for the club’s policy as he will not be handed more than a year contract which might not be accepted by the Argentina international.

Deal close! German outfit to rival English club for Chelsea outcast

It is no longer news that Chelsea star Ruben Loftus-Cheek is seeking a move away from the Stamford Bridge but what is yet unknown is where he would be heading to when the winter transfer window reopens.

English outfit Crystal Palace were earlier mentioned as the suitors for the young lad but they will now have to face competition from German Bundesliga side Schalke for the versatile midfielder.

According to a Daily Mail report, Crystal Palace will have to do a lot to be able to win the race against the Bundesliga side with both clubs ready to hand Ruben Loftus-Cheek a starting role when he eventually signs.

An attempt by Palace to secure the signature of the English player failed as the West London side refused to let him leave the club with the hope that he will be able to beat off competition in the Maurizio Sarri team.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek went down the pecking order in the Blues team with the coming of Croatia international Mateo Kovacic on loan from Spanish side Real Madrid.

However, suggestions are that Ruben Loftus-Cheek will wish to remain in England and will not fancy a move abroad so as to help him settle quickly to continue his progress.
