North London giants Arsenal are keeping tabs on Sevilla striker Wissam Ben Yedder after club scouts identified him as a potential replacement for the injured Danny Welbeck.
The Gunners are in search of a replacement for the unfortunate Welbeck after the England international forward suffered a season-ending injury shortly before the recently concluded international break.
Frenchman Ben Yedder has been in fantastic form for his Sevilla side in the new campaign.
He has scored 10 goals in 17 appearances for the Spanish La Liga side in all competitions.
According to various media reports, it would take at least €45m for the Gunners to prise Wissem Ben Yedder away from the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium when the winter transfer window reopens in some weeks time.
Arsenal could face competition from seven-time European champions AC Milan who are also interested in the 28-year-old.
The Gunners are keen to find a replacement for Danny Welbeck who got injured during the Europa League meeting with Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon at the Emirates Stadium.
The former Manchester United and Sunderland player sustained the right ankle injury in the first half of the game which ended in a goalless draw.
The result was enough to secure the Gunners’ spot in the first knockout stage of the competition.
