The Long week of speculations regarding the future of Chelsea powerhouse N’Golo Kante has now been brought to rest following the reports that he has signed a new contract with the club.

N’Golo Kante signed a five years deal with the West London club on Friday which will have him earn a whopping $19.0 million per season, a double of what he was previously earning.

The Frenchman has only spent two years with the Premier League giants but he has been impressive as he had a repeat of his impressive performance at Leicester City before his move.

The World Cup winner won two Premier League titles consecutively with the Foxes and later with the Blues to make him one of Premier League’s most important player.

N’Golo Kante has been the rock at the Chelsea midfield for the past two years, although he has been asked to play a more advanced role at the club by new manager Maurizio Sarri.

The Frenchman expressed delight despite looking timid as usual as he posed for pictures to mark the beginning of a new contract with the club.

Kante is one of the players Sarri rely on to help secure a title win this season with the Premier League and Europa League in sight.
