Liverpool are set to lose their highly rated right full-back Nathaniel Clyne to Cardiff City following the indication of interest.
Bluebirds are therefore preparing a bid for Nathaniel Clyne in the coming winter transfer window so as to hand him a regular playing time at the club and in turn add to the strength of their defence with a highly rated defender.
Nathaniel Clyne is obviously not happy at the Anfield for no other reasons than not having to play regularly as he has been rated behind others in the team so there are indications that he will be ready to move on so as to salvage his career.
Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock is a big fan of the right back and is keen to pay big to have his signature once the transfer window reopens.
However, the Bluebirds are not alone in the pursuit of Nathaniel Clyne with Southampton and Leicester City also interested in his signature.
Nathaniel Clyne joined the Anfield side in 2015 with a fee of about £18 million but he has since gone down in the pecking order with the coming of Trent to the limelight.
Meanwhile, suggestions are that the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp will not block a move for the highly-rated defender.
