Chelsea are believed to be readying a bid for Florian Thauvin as they are set to approach French outfit Marseille for his signature ahead of the transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.
The France international is also being monitored by the North London club Arsenal but the West London side are believed to be ahead having made enquires of the France international and are already getting set with their bid.
Maurizio Sarri is beginning to feel concerned about his forwards with Olivier Giroud, Alvaro Morata and Willian all struggling with their form this season, hence he is keen on bringing a helper to add to their strength.
However, Florian Thauvin only joined the French outfit in 2017 for a fee of £10 million where he found his form and established himself as a player to reckon with again.
Just this season, the French international has scored 8 goals in all competitions in 12 appearances which make him one of the best at the moment in the Ligue 1.
Florian Thauvin’s performance has earned him a release clause of £50 million as his current contract with the club expects to expire in 2021.
Meanwhile, he was rewarded with a national team call-up and part of the team that won the World Cup in Russia earlier this year.
