Austrian international star Marko Arnautovic failed to address transfer rumours linking him with a move away from his club after he helped his country to a 2-1 win over the Northern Ireland in their UEFA Nations League clash played on Sunday evening.
Arnautovic spoke to reporters after he came off the bench to provide the assist for the winning goal scored by Valentin Lazaro during the game at Windsor Park.
Marko Arnautovic plays his club football with East London outfit West Ham United at the moment.
The 29-year-old has been linked with a move to European heavyweights like Manchester United and Chelsea ahead of the upcoming transfer window scheduled to start as from the 1st of January.
Reports had earlier claimed that Manchester United were rebuffed by fellow Premier League side West Ham United in the summer when they made an enquiry over his transfer availability.
When he was asked about those transfer rumours in the interview monitored by Metro, the former Werder Bremen and FC Twente player revealed that his focus is on West Ham at the moment starting from the weekend’s Premier League game at the Olympic Stadium in London.
Marko Arnautovic joined the Hammers from Championship side Stoke City in a deal reported to be around £25m.
