Former Norwich forward Dieumerci Mbokani can no longer hide his regrets about his past decision to snub Liverpool some years back.
The Anfield side made all efforts to Dieumerci Mbokani from Standard Ligue in 2010 when Roy Hodgson first arrived as Liverpool manager but he snubbed the Reds and decided on a move to French side Monaco.
According to him, the move to Monaco was the worst decision he ever made as stressing that it was responsible for his stunt progress in the game.
Dieumerci Mbokani expressed regrets that his name would have been sung like the world greatest attackers like Samuel Eto, Didier Drogba and even Thierry Henry because of the abilities he had at that time.
It would be recalled that Dieumerci Mbokani spent only a season with the French outlet as he failed to impress before moving to Anderlecht and later Dynamo Kiev before his final return to the English Premier League with Norwich City on loan in the 2015/2016 season.
Meanwhile, it was reported that Liverpool at that time were in need of a striker which would have given Dieumerci Mbokani the opportunity of playing in a big club and at big stages including the Champions League to showcase his abilities.
