Chelsea target Krzysztof Piatek has hung his dream for all to see–a chance to play for a big club.

The Genoa striker is reportedly on the Blues radar. Chelsea have been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old, among a host of other clubs.

The Blues are toothless are the front and have struggled in recent weeks to win their games.

The drab in their frontline and the evident struggles of the striking duo–Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud–to get their names on the score-sheet has the Blues angling to recruit potentials in January.

Piatek is on Blues shopping list and is reportedly within their grasps since they will have to cough up gigantic sums of money to lure Argentine Mauro Icardi away from Italian outfit Inter Milan.

Piatek has notched up 13 goals in 13 appearances sign joining Genoa last summer, a good tally that has him under the radar of a host of interested clubs like Juventus, Roma, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund.

Genoa slapped a 40 million pounds bid on Piatek, a canny move to drive away suitors.

Chelsea frowned at the steep price, but it looks like Piatek is already keen on leaving the Serie A outfit for a bigger club, Chelsea in mind.

  • ‘The dream of those who come to Genoa is that they use it as a stepping stone towards a big club,’ Piatek told Corriere Della Sera.

The 23-year-old is contracted until 2022 at the Italian outfit.
