PSG Join Queue To Sign 24-Year-Old Man United Defender
French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are the latest entrant into the list of clubs said to be interested in a move for out-of-favour Manchester United defender Eric Bailly ahead of the upcoming transfer window scheduled to start as from the 1st of January.
Ivorian international centre-back Bailly has endured a frustrating start to the new campaign.
He has made just five appearances for Manchester United this season.
The former Espanyol player joined Manchester United in the summer of 2016 after the Red Devils agreed to a fee of around £30m with Spanish La Liga side Villarreal.
His lack of game time at Manchester United has led to talks of a move away from Old Trafford ahead of the January transfer window.
Premier League sides like Arsenal and Manchester United have been strongly linked with the 24-year-old and it remains to be seen whether Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho will be willing to sanction his sale to a top-four rival in January.
It had earlier been reported that Mourinho is keen to sell at least two of his defenders in a bid to sign a new centre back.
Mourinho is desperate for a defensive acquisition in a bid to boost the Manchester United defence in the second half of this season.
